World Suicide Prevention Day Today (and every day)

I have a sheep friend who thought flying a kite
today wouldn't make him feel any better.
Hopefully at least knowing
that others care and thought
it was important to observe this day, will help

This one is for you... today, and every day.

And now, to unpack...

Now that I'm all the way up here...

I don't know if I can actually lift this box.

The New Books are Here!

New books, coming soon to a library shelf near you.
Actually, some of these are new copies of books we already have.
Books like the City of Bones and Divergent series are so popular we can't keep them on the shelf.

So many good green books... so little time.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Freedom to Read Week

This book has been banned in some schools which of course made me WANT to read it. I'm in disguise though so they won't know it's me if they try to send me to jail. The librarians have assured me that doesn't happen here, but I read it DOES in some countries.

"Autograph" Contest

So, write down the name of a book you recommend,
sign your name and hopefully win a prize.

This was a lot of effort. I hope I win.

I LOVE TO READ!

It's I Love to Read month so the librarians want people (and sheep)
to recommend a good book they've read lately.
I really liked this one.

Here's what it says on the back:

"After the first wave, only darkness remains.
After the second, only the lucky escape.
And after the third, only the lucky survive.
After the fourth wave, only one rule applies: trust no one."

You should read it.

I'm not quite sure what these librarians are up to...

I just do what they tell me to do.

The new yearbooks are here!

This may be the best book I've read all year.Don't forget to pick up yours at the office. There are also some extras available if you didn't pre-order but not many. Also, remember to pre-order  for next year. Also, also, "smile" when we're out taking photos for this year's yearbook. It makes my job on the yearbook committee much easier.

Friday Reads... write down the name of your book and your name. Then put your entry in the green draw box.

I hope I win! Then I can pick a book for the library and be the first sheep to read it. What are you reading this Friday?

Suicide Prevention Day

We're flying kites outside today for Suicide Prevention Day. I can't wait.

She said we couldn't go outside yet. But she didn't say anything about test flights in the library.

This is for all the people who I know have contemplated suicide and those I don't know about. Remember, you are loved and you are worth it.  Please talk to someone. More info here.

Plan B...

Scanner's broken. We'll have to type everything in by hoof... I mean hand. At least we don't have to use the old library stamp. I always get ink all over my fur when I use that thing.

Ready for action...

Fastest scanner in the west.
