Celebrating Spring With Some Good Books & Bad Puns...

The Rabbit and I are just relaxing and checking out 

some books the librarians put out on display.

It's a good thing we enjoy good books and bad puns 

although maybe not quite as much as the librarians do.

The Sheep falls for a leprechaun trap

"Just because St. Patrick's Day is coming up and I have a few relatives who live in Ireland, the librarians thought it would be "cute" to dress me up as a leprechaun.

No fake gold coins are going to make me fall for their leprechaun trap though - - maybe if they were made of chocolate."

The next day...

"Hmmm.. I think there is a picture of one of my cousins in this book."

"If I just move it this way a little and snatch it really quickly...."

"Curse those librarians and their stellar book buying skills... 

Also, why did they use a Froot Loops box for the trap?  

Everybody knows leprechauns like Lucky Charms. 

I'm partial to Shredded Wheat myself, they

remind me of the bales from the barn back home.

A little help here?"

They say books make a great gift.

I wonder if the librarians got me anything.

Hmmm, nothing that's capturing my attention so far.

I'll guess I'll have to see if they have any recommendations.

I thought I might find some information about my long lost Uncle in this Pet Sematary book, but it's not what I expected at all. #scarybooks

World Suicide Prevention Day Today (and every day)

I have a sheep friend who thought flying a kite

today wouldn't make him feel any better.

Hopefully at least knowing 

that others care and thought 

it was important to observe this day, will help

Freedom to Read Week

This book has been banned in some schools which of course made me WANT to read it. I'm in disguise though so they won't know it's me if they try to send me to jail. The librarians have assured me that doesn't happen here, but I read it DOES in some countries.

"Autograph" Contest

 So, write down the name of a book you recommend, 

sign your name and hopefully win a prize.

This was a lot of effort. I hope I win.

I LOVE TO READ!

It's I Love to Read month so the librarians want people (and sheep) 

to recommend a good book they've read lately. 

I really liked this one.

Here's what it says on the back: 

"After the first wave, only darkness remains. 

After the second, only the lucky escape.

You should read it.
